研究方向
基本科学问题:集中于全球变化与地表过程研究,以水动力学为核心的土壤侵蚀与地貌演化过程(地质历史时期以来),以水量平衡为核心的生态系统与生物多样性演化过程及生物地球化学循环过程;以人类活动为中心的城市化过程及区域可持续发展。包括但不限于,气候水文事件及其环境灾害风险评价、侵蚀环境变化与区域可持续发展、环境变化与生态系统相互作用等。
基本研究方法:集中于环境系统过程数值模拟研究,包括数据挖掘,数值分析,智能评价,模型情景模拟,模型开发等。包括但不限于,运用气候水文学、土壤学、地貌学及第四纪地质学的基本原理和地理信息系统(GIS),遥感(RS)等方法,发展以环境系统动力学为核心的模型模拟、数值分析与智能评价方法,系统地研究在气候变化与人类活动影响下环境演化过程的基本表现特征、相互作用过程、驱动机制及耦合机制。

个人简介
目前主要从事全球环境变化与地表过程研究,曾兼任多个国际学术期刊(SCI)副主编、编委与特邀主编,是多个国际、国内重要学术组织专业委员会委员。主持并承担了包括国家重点研究计划项目课题、中国科学院先导专项课题、国家自然科学基金委面上项目,中国科学院百人计划项目及中国科学院重点专项课题在内的等多项科研项目,在国内外专业学术期刊上发表了50余篇SCI论文,先后多次应邀出席国际学术大会并做大会特邀主题报告。相关研究成果被收录美国《应用水文学手册》、英国《水文气象学》,获湖北省科技进步二等奖(2015年),2011年入选中国科学院百人计划(A类)。
