元素生物地球化学循环
生物地球化学作用是地球关键带中最为活跃的表生过程。本研究方向重点研究关键生境的微生物地球化学过程及其环境响应,研究微生物驱动下的元素循环与环境演变规律、元素循环与成矿作用机制,揭示其对重要元素地球化学循环控制规律,评估其生态环境效应,为环境污染修复提供理论和技术支撑。下设三个研究分室:
1. 氮循环-微生物作用研究室
2.矿物-微生物作用研究室
3.有机大分子研究室
Biological and organic geochemistry
Biogeochemical processes are the most active surface geochemical processes in the Earth's Critical Zone (CZ). The researches focus on the microbial geochemical processes and environmental responses of critical habitats. We also research on microbe motivated elements circulation and environmental evolution principles, as well as elements circulation and mineralization mechanism. The above researches could reveal the control rules of essential elements' geochemical cycling, and assess the ecological environmental consequence, which may provide theoretical and technical support for environmental remediation practices.
