报告人简介

王少彬，阿德莱德大学化学工程学院教授及澳大利亚桂冠教授。早年毕业于北京大学，获理学学士和硕士学位；后在澳大利亚昆士兰大学取得博士学位。曾被澳大利亚科廷大学授予John-Curtin杰出教授等称号。主要研究领域和方向为纳米材料研制及在环境和能源转化上的应用。2016-2022先后入选科睿唯安工程，化学，与环境及生态学领域全球高被引学者。现担任Applied Catalysis B, Chemical Engineering Journal Advances副主编和Journal of Colloid and Interface Science联合编辑以及几个国际学术期刊的编委。

报告简介：

Water pollution has been an important issue globally. Removal of toxic organic pollutants by advanced oxidation processes has been an emerging technique for wastewater treatment. Nanostructured materials have many advantages as catalysts in different reactions. Their design and modification for environmental applications have been widely reported. In this seminar, I will present several examples to demonstrate our recent research in the nanomaterials development and their applications in advanced oxidation processes for water treatment.
