Recently, the Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation (RCCSE) of Wuhan University announced the latest issue of the evaluation results of academic journals “Research Report on the Evaluation of Chinese Academic Journals (the 7th Edition)”. The journal “Control and Decision” of the NEU ranked second among 37 journals related to information and systems science in engineering and technology disciplines, and was rated as “RCCSE China Authoritative Academic Journal (A+)”. Only the top 2 journals in this discipline were selected for A + grade.
It is reported that the first edition of the evaluation report was launched in 2009. It has made important breakthroughs in the theoretical research and practical application of evaluation methods, evaluation indicators, and evaluation systems. Recognized as one of the seven academic journal evaluation systems, it has currently formed a relatively mature scientific evaluation system. The report was jointly launched by the China Academy of Science and Education Evaluation of Hangzhou Dianzi University, the Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation (RCCSE) of Wuhan University, the Library of Wuhan University, and the China Science and Education Evaluation Network (www.nseac.com). This time, a total of 6,622 Chinese academic journals were identified and included, which are classified by discipline, ranked and graded according to the comprehensive evaluation score of the journal. A + grade is authoritative journals, that is, the top 5% journals. The evaluation system is an important reference tool for information resource management departments, publishing management departments, scientific research achievement management departments, periodical publishing institutions and scientific research personnel.
