Formerly knownas ASMInternational Materials Research Award, SilverMedal awarded annually to no more than 2 people, recognizes the outstandingcontributions of scholars under the age of 40, who are in the early stages oftheir careers. This is the first time that it has been awarded to a Chinesescholar.
