On December 23, Tang Lixin, Vice-president of NEU, led a delegation to Jiangsu Shagang Group to sign a cooperation agreement. Gong Sheng, Executive Director and President of Shagang Group, Shen Bin, Party Secretary and Executive Director of Shagang Group and Chairman of Shagang Group Co., Ltd., Chen Shaohui, Executive Director, Executive Vice-president and Chief Engineer of Shagang Group, Shi Yixin, Executive Director of Shagang Group and General Manager of Shagang Group Co., Ltd., Lei Xuemin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Shagang Group and Deputy General Manager of Shagang Group Co., Ltd. , and Dong Xuedong, General Manager of Northeast Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. under Shagang Group, were present at relevant activities.
At the meeting, Tang Lixin and Shen Bin signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the two parties. Before the signing ceremony, Shen Wenrong, Chairman of the Board of Shagang Group, met and had in-depth exchange of views on the key cooperation projects with Tang Lixin and his entourages.
During the meeting, the two parties had further communication and made special reports on the implementation of relevant agreement contents and technical difficulties. Representatives from the Graduate School, the Sci-tech Department, the Student Guidance and Service Center as well as relevant colleges and laboratories of NEU also visited the Institute of Research of Iron and Steel, Shasteel/Jiangsu Province and related production lines.
