From December 2 to 3, the 1st Industrial Intelligence Summit Forum was held by the State Key Laboratory of Synthetical Automation for Process Industries of NEU in Shenyang. Chai Tianyou, chairman of the Industrial Intelligence Summit Forum and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was present at the forum and delivered a speech. Well-known experts and scholars in the field of industrial intelligence at home and abroad and more than 200 teachers and students from the laboratory attended the conference online or offline.
The forum invited Zhang Qingfu (IEEE Fellow and chair professor at City University of Hong Kong), Zhang Mengjie (academician of RSNZ, academician of IPENZ, IEEE Fellow, and professor at Victoria University of Wellington), Zhang Yingjun (IEEE Fellow and professor at Chinese University of Hong Kong), professor Hong Bao (academician of the Academy of Europe), Jin Yaochu (IEEE Fellow and professor at Bielefeld University), as well as 18 experts and scholars from famous overseas universities and high-tech companies such as Carnegie Mellon University, University of California San Diego, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. They delivered reports around scalable and dependable AI, mobile edge computing, deep learning of graphs, multi-level optimization of machine learning, multi-objective decomposition optimization, federated distribution optimization, optimization of people’s preferences for circuits, study and control of CPS security, information-physics-human system, autonomous robots, and AI-powered robotic microinjection system. The forum brought a wonderful academic feast, provided an international stage for scholars engaged in the field of industrial intelligence to exchange the latest academic achievements, and offered teachers and students an academic platform to communicate with overseas experts, to expand their knowledge, and to broaden their academic horizon.
