According to the results of 2019 MCM/ICM (MathematicalContest in Modeling/ Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling) published recently,9 teams of Northeastern University (NEU) at Qinhuangdao won “MeritoriousWinner” awards, while 16 teams won “Honorable Mention” awards.
MCM/ICM is amulti-day mathematics competition held annually. It is distinguished from othermajor mathematical competitions by its strong focus on research, originality,teamwork, communication and justification of results.
