From November 16th to 17th, the 44th ICPC International Collegiate Programming Competition Asian Regional Competition (Shen Yang) was held at the Northeastern University’s Liu Changchun Stadium. This is the fifth consecutive year that the school has hosted this event since 2015. 600 people in 200 teams from 136 Asian top universities including Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hong Kong University, North Korea University of Science and Korea Kim Il Sung University participated in the competition.
According to the competition rules, the 200 participating teams competed continuously for 5 hours, and the competition eventually delivered 20 gold medals, 40 silver medals and 60 bronze medals. Among them, the teams of East China Normal University, Fuzhou University and North Korea University of Science respectively took the first, second, and third place in the competition.
Authorized by the ICPC Asian Regional Organizing Committee, the “Northeast Center of the International Programming Technology Joint Laboratory” was established in the Northeastern University, and the unveiling ceremony was held during the competition.
