On September 22, the joint management committee meeting of the Northeastern University-University of Dundee Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Education Cooperation Project was held in Room 308 of Hanqing Hall. President Zhao Ji and Vice President Tang Lixin of Northeastern University, relevant principals of the International Exchange Institute and the School of Medicine and Bioinformatics Engineering, Vice President Wendy Alexander of University of Dundee, and relevant project principals Jason Norris, Jose Fiadeiro and Zhihong Huang attended the meeting.
At the meeting, relevant leaders of Northeastern University and University of Dundee made project reports respectively, introducing the construction of teachers, enrollment promotion, brand communication, platform construction and the first orientation of the project. The meeting deliberated and adopted proposals on the organizational structure and operation mechanism of the project, changes in University of Dundee's financial cost budget, financial approvers, explanation of tuition standards for the final year of the project, budget for the fiscal year 2019-2020 of the project, teacher training for cooperative projects, and changes in members of the joint project management committee. Delegates also discussed issues such as school running costs, taxes and fees, and the co-construction of training sessions for teachers in the UK.
