Recently, the 3rd National Metallurgy Science and Technology Competition among College Students sponsored by the Higher Education Materials Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by the Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology concluded. The representative team of NEU overcame many difficulties and achieved great results in the competition, winning one special prize, one first prize and nine second prizes in the “Scientific and Technological Innovation and Creative Design” competition unit, as well as one first prize and two second prizes in the “Simulation Training” competition unit.
The National Metallurgy Science and Technology Competition among College Students is a nationwide event catering to the current university students majoring metallurgy, materials, chemical engineering, resources, energy and environment throughout the whole country. Since it was held for the first time in 2018, it has mobilized and inspired tens of thousands of college students with related majors from all over the country to actively participate in public welfare science popularization. It is aimed at effectively enhancing the quality of talent training through cultivating college students’ professional interests and improving their innovation ability and practical skills.
