In order to support the development of basic education in the poverty-stricken mountainous regions of Santai County, Mianyang, Sichuan, recently the education supporting team of graduates of Northeastern University has joined hands with the Loving Organization of the West donated a loving library for Baoquan Primary School of the county.

At the end of 2019, the Loving Organization of the West, through the aid of the education support team of Northeastern University, expressed an intention to donate a loving library for Baoquan Primary School at the poverty-stricken mountainous region. Recently, the members of the education support team of the Northeastern University, entrusted by the Loving Organization, donated the first batch of 500 books and several book shelves to the primary school. The Loving Organization said that it will hang a plaque for the loving library at the end of 2020 and will donate another 500 books.
The students of Baoquan Primary School are in a reading class at the loving library.
It’s a primary task in the poverty relief and development to let the kids of the poverty-stricken regions receive good education and an important channel to stop the inter-generation flow of poverty. The education support team of the Northeastern University said, they will stick to the philosophy of promoting the all-round development of people, strengthen the social construction of poverty-stricken regions and make contributions to the battle of poverty alleviation.
