Recently, Prof. Wang Yi, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Engineering and Director of the Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation on Intelligent Systems of NEU, was granted the IEEE TCRTS Outstanding Technical Achievements and Leadership Award 2019 and delivered a keynote report at the 41st IEEE Real Time System Symposium, a top conference in the real-time system field. The report is themed “Updatable System Design”, covering the modeling and analysis methods that support real-time updatable systems.
This award, which began in 1999, is IEEE TCRTS's highest recognition of an individual. It is set up to commend those scientific research personnel with remarkable contributions to the field of real-time systems and with outstanding leadership. Over the years, all the winners are the leading figures who have made groundbreaking contributions in the field of real-time systems.
