On February 22, a delegation led by Bao Liangqing, Chairman of DFMC Group and General Manager of DFMC Co., Ltd., visited NEU.
Bao Liangqing and his entourages visited the Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education on Safe Mining of Deep Metal Mines to learn about the scientific research situation of the laboratory in detail. After the visit, NEU president Feng Xiating met with the delegation in the meeting room of the laboratory.
Feng Xiating said that the two parties have a great scope for cooperation as the scientific research direction of DFMC is highly consistent with the discipline orientation of NEU. He also expressed his hope that both parties can establish long-term strategic partnership in the aspects of joint scientific research, industry-university-research cooperation and talent cultivation, give full play to their respective strengths, have deep integration of key cooperation contents, and sign strategic cooperation agreements to achieve in-depth cooperation, continuously promote the development of both parties, and jointly make contributions to the comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning Province.
Vice-president Sun Lei had a meeting with Bao Liangqing and his delegation in Room 1401 of the main building. Heads of relevant departments of NEU attended the meeting.
At the meeting, relevant heads of the Sci-tech Department, the Student Guidance and Service Center, the College of Resources and Civil Engineering, the School of Metallurgy, the College of Information Science and Engineering, the College of Computer Science and Engineering, and the Software College of NEU respectively made speeches, introducing the situation of their own department and expressing their willingness to cooperate.
