From June 4 to 8, Liaoning College Students’ Badminton Competition, sponsored by the Educational Department of Liaoning Province and presented by Shenyang Sport University, was held in Shenyang Sport University. After 5 days of exciting and fierce competition, the badminton team of NEU achieved excellent results.
A total of 408 athletes from 46 colleges and universities in our province participated in the competition. NEU had 12 athletes taking part in the competition, including 6 males and 6 females. The girls’ team composed of Wang Xiaoxiao, Shi Yuzhu, Wen Langning, Gao Jingyi, Zhang Yilin and Zhang Cuiwei won the team champion; Wang Xiaoxiao and Shi Yuzhu won the girls’ doubles champion; Huai Yuxiao and Zhang Cuiwei won the runner-up in mixed doubles; Fan Guangxin and Zhang Yilin won the third place in mixed doubles; Huang Shuo and Pan Chen won the third place in boys’ doubles; and the boys’ team composed of Wu Sinuo, Han Lingyi, Huang Shuo, Pan Chen, Fan Guangxin and Huai Yuxiao won the fifth place in team competition.
