On December 18th, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation (Enterprise Technology Innovation Conference of Jilin Province) was held in Changchun. Eight universities -- Northeastern University, Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Tianjin University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Jilin University, Northeast Normal University -- signed Strategic Co-operation Framework Agreement with the People's Government of Jilin Province, respectively. Vice-governor of Jilin Province, Chunli Gu, directors of Industry and Information Technology Hall of Jilin Province and municipal (state) government, leaders of the universities, and enterprise representatives presented. Bayanqolu, governor of Jilin Province, met with university leaders before the conference.
The party committee secretary, Jiaxue Sun, vice-presidents, Liang Zuo and Guochen Zhang, and directors of relevant departments of Northeastern University attended the meeting. Chunli Gu and Jiaxue Sun signed the Agreement as representatives. Besides, Northeastern University signed scientific and technological cooperation agreement with Jilin Xiang Yuan Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. and Tonghua Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.
According to the Agreement, the People's Government of Jilin Province and Northeastern University will both give full play to their advantages. The long-term, in-depth cooperation covers aspects of talent cultivation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements of research, and industrial cooperation, etc. Surely, mutual benefit and win-win result will be realized in the future.
