The new Japan’s deputy consul general in Shenyang, Da Zemian and the vice consul, Ping Daolongxing visited our university on November 20th. The president of our university, Dinglieyun met with them in Room 203, Han Qing Hall.
Ding Lieyun welcomed Da Zemian’s group, and introduced the characteristics of our university and the development of school-run industry. He also introduced campus distribution, including the new one and the old one, and faculty-student ratio. Ding Lieyun pointed out that Northeastern University always valued international exchange and cooperation, and cooperated with universities and enterprises in Japan. Moreover, Northeastern University hopes to continue and even strengthen cooperation in the future.
Da Zemian said that Northeastern University enjoyed a long history and it had good culture communication with universities and enterprises in Japan. Besides, he hoped China and Japan could strengthen communication and learn from each other in environmental protection, energy conservation, medical treatment and such problems in the future.
