In order to enhance China-US youth exchanges and mutual understanding, Northeastern University plans to organize the NEU Chinese Culture Summer Camp from July 6 to 19, 2025. Joining this camp, you will have the opportunity to experience the long and splendid Chinese civilization through Chinese language learning and cultural excursions in the cities of Shenyang, Benxi, and Beijing. For more specific information,please refer to the brochure in the attachment. 

Who Can Apply

lBetween the ages of 13 and 45 with American nationality

lSudents or young scholars studying or working at American public or private middle schools or universities

lPhysically and mentally fit for international travel

lMinors are required to travel with a chaperone who should have extensive experience in cross-cultural communication under the age of 65, and the chaperone to minor ratio should be 1:5 to 1:10

Fees

Your expenses upon arrival in China will be covered by Northeastern University. You only need to pay for your international flights, insurance, visa, and personal expenses in China.

(Note: if you do not hold any visa to China yet and plan to apply for an F visa to China for this Camp, your visa fee will be exempted with a special invitation extended to you and the F visa issued to you will be valid for 5 years with multiple entries.)
