Dr. Jun Yang received the B.S. degree in Automation from Dalian University of Technology, China, in 1999 and his M.S. degree in Control Theory and Engineering from Shenyang University of Technology, China, in 2004. In 2008, he received Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Northeastern University, China. He is currently a professor and doctoral advisor in the Institute of Electrical Automation, College of Information Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, China. His major interests include new energy power generation and grid connection optimization, power system networked control, active distribution system collaborative control, energy Internet and smart energy. He was listed by Scopus/Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in Electrical Engineering in 2022-2023 and the TOP 5% Highly Cited Researchers of CNKI in Electrical Engineering in 2024.
