Education:
Graduated in January 2013 from Nankai University under the mentorship of Academician Song Licheng, specializing in Organometallic Chemistry (OM), and received a Ph.D. in Science.
Postdoctoral Research:
Joined the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, in April 2013 under the supervision of Professor Shi Zhangjie, focusing on organometallic-guided organic synthesis (OMCOS).
Current Role:
Began teaching and conducting research at the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, Minzu University of China, after completing postdoctoral training. Selected in 2019 for the Minzu University High-Level Talent Program – Outstanding Youth Talent Program.

Research Areas

1. High-Value Utilization of Biomass

Extraction of lignin from plants (e.g., trees, straw) and nutshells, followed by functional modification to prepare renewable lignin-based composite functional materials. Applications include medicine, environmental protection, catalysis, green agriculture, cosmetics, and energy, aiming to achieve renewable utilization of biomass resources.

2. Green Chemistry

Rapid construction of key drug molecule skeletons from inexpensive and readily available small biomass molecules via transition-metal catalysis. Divergent synthesis of structurally diverse active small drug molecules based on these skeletons, followed by bioactivity evaluation to discover potential pharmaceutical molecules.
