Research Interests
DNA and RNA higher-order structures like G-quadruplexes and i-motifs play crucial roles in gene transcription and functional regulation. Our research mainly focuses on the following aspects:
1. Structural characterization of the four-stranded nucleic acids including G-quadruplexes and i-motifs.
2. Natural small molecule ligands screening and derivatives design for regulation of nucleic acids recognition.
