Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Jilin University, a Master’s degree from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Doctorate from Peking University. Visiting scholar appointments were undertaken at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and Kyung Hee University in South Korea. Recognition includes selection for the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Support Program in 2010 and inclusion in the Young and Middle-Aged Talent Support Program of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission in 2014. Research contributions include leading one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), participating in two additional NSFC projects, and managing multiple provincial, ministerial, and university-level projects. Publications comprise over 70 scientific research papers, three textbooks, and one monograph.

Main Research Focus

The research primarily employs chemical principles and methodologies to investigate the formation mechanisms, migration, transformation processes, and environmental fates of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in various environmental media. Additionally, it includes assessments of the impacts of POPs on human health.
