On the afternoon of August 13th, the Opening Ceremony of Seminar on Global Value Chains and Green Trade Capacity Building sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and jointly organized by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and Jiangxi Vocational College of Foreign Studies and Trade was held in Nanchang. Fang Yuming, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Wang Linan, researcher of Jiangxi Department of Commerce, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Liu Xiaobing, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Zhou Lushui, Deputy Director of Training Center of Jiangxi Vocational College of Foreign Trade, Wang Shubai, Vice President of College of International Trade and Economics, and 17 government officials from Chile, Palestine, Jordan, Cuba, South Africa, Uganda and Afghanistan attended the ceremony. The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Xu Tao, director of the Overseas Student Work Office of the School of International Trade and Economics.
In his speech, Fang Yuming introduced the basic situation of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and the characteristics of international education to all the officials. He said that the seminar aims to share China's practical experience in promoting green economy development and enhancing the competitiveness of green industries in the global value chain, further enhance the friendship with developing countries, and continuously deepen cooperation and exchanges in the field of international trade. He hoped that all the officials and friends could further enhance the exchanges and cooperation between China and your countries in culture and economy and trade in related fields, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. At the same time, they can also respect different views, opinions and habits and traditions, achieve common progress and common development on the basis of mutual respect and harmony without uniformity, link what they think, see and learn with the actual situation of their own country, and actively explore the model and path to promote the development of their own country.
On behalf of the Department of Commerce of Jiangxi Province, Wang Linan extended his sincere welcome to the friends coming from afar and expressed his warm congratulations on the successful holding of the seminar. Ms.MARIELA, who works in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, delivered a speech as the representative of the trainees. She expressed her great honor to attend this seminar and thanked Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics for its warm reception. She believes that this seminar will not only promote the friendship, exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese country and China, but also learn from China's valuable experience in developing and building a green industrial chain. She will also share what she has learned in the workshop with her domestic colleagues and apply it to their respective work, so as to have a practical impact and contribute to enhancing the friendship and cooperation with China.
It is reported that the Seminar on Global Value Chains and Green Trade Capacity Building lasted for 14 days, set up classroom lectures, seminars, visits, cultural experience and other forms, rich in content, closely related to the theme, pragmatic and efficient.
