On the afternoon of September 28th, the opening ceremony of 2024 International Business Master Program and freshmen Admission Education Conference was held by the Ministry of Commerce and jointly organized by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. Xie Hualin，Vice President of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Wu Zhaoyang, dean of School of International Trade and Economics, Liao Yongyong, Party Secretary , Liu Xiaobing, Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Department, staff of overseas Student Work Office of School of International Trade and Economics and 39 master students from 19 countries and regions attended the ceremony. The event was presided over by Deng Jun, vice dean of the School of International Trade and Economics.

On behalf of JUFE, Xie Hualin extended heartfelt congratulations and warm welcome to all the freshmen of 2024 who successfully passed the selection. He introduced in detail the long history of JUFE, as well as the fruitful achievements and remarkable results of the foreign aid training program of the Ministry of Commerce. He pointed out that this year marks the 11th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. As firm practitioners of the initiative, the university has always upheld the original aspiration, constantly strengthened the opening-up of education, and actively carried out inclusive, mutual learning and mutual exchanges and cooperation with other countries in the world. He earnestly hoped that in the next two years, all the new students would bear in mind the school motto of "Honesty, Vitality, Integrity and Tenacity", diligently learn knowledge, accumulate experience, and gain the deep friendship between teachers and students and the sincere friendship of friends from all over the world. After graduation, they will become outstanding talents in their respective fields, act as ambassadors of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, build a solid bridge for young people from all countries to study and exchange in China, and contribute to promoting friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries.

Ms. ALMA AGAPINUS TAX from Tanzania and Mr. SHRIJAL RAJ SHRESTHA from Nepal gave speeches on behalf of freshmen. In their speeches, they would like to thank the Ministry of Commerce and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics for giving them valuable opportunities to learn professional knowledge, and said that they would learn from excellent JUFE students and outstanding JUFE alumni, and with rigorous attitude, scientific methods and strong perseverance.

After the opening ceremony, the School of International Trade and Economics held a education conference for international students. The teachers of the Overseas Student Work Office introduced the specific requirements of professional training program, double selection tutor, proposal and thesis, and encouraged the freshmen to adapt to the study life as soon as possible and study.

It is reported that since 2015, our school has undertaken the foreign degree program of the Ministry of Commerce. Up to now, it has completed 8 International Business (IMMIB) Master programs. At present, there are 76 students of Commerce in 2023 and 2024.
