From June 29 to July 2, the School of International Trade and Economicsorganized students of 2021 and 2022 Ministry of Commerce to visit Shanghai, Yiwu and other places, They were warmly received by China Federation of Industry and Commerce (Shanghai) and Yiwu Alumni Association of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. The delegation was led by Wang Shubai, vice dean of the SITE, Xu Tao, counselor of overseas students, relevant staff of the Overseas Student Affairs Office and nearly 70 overseas students from more than 20 countries and regions such as Sierra Leone, Lesotho, Cambodia, and Bangladesh participated in the delegation.

On the afternoon of 29th, the first stop of the delegation came to Southeast Elevator and was warmly received by Qin Jiancong, chairman of Southeast Elevator. Southeast Elevator is positioned as the foundry of aerospace elevators. After more than 20 years of innovation and development, it has become a partner of China's space industry and provided vertical transportation system solutions for major national projects. The international students are full of praise for the advanced production equipment, modern management mode and strict quality control system.

    Afterwards, the international students had a discussion with the company executives in the company conference room, and they had a heated discussion on the development trend of the elevator industry, technological innovation and international market development. The leaders of Southeast Elevator answered the questions of the international students in detail, and shared the company's successful experience and future prospects.

On the morning of 30th, the delegation first visited the NIO Global Delivery Center. Under the guidance of the staff, the international students visited various areas of the delivery center. We have a detailed understanding of the whole process of NIO from order receiving, vehicle production to final delivery. In the delivery center, the international students personally experienced the intelligent service system of NIO Automobile, including convenient online order processing, intelligent vehicle detection and efficient after-sales service process. International students are full of praise for NIO's intelligent driving, saying that the experience process is very smooth and full of technology.

     In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Nezha Automobile China Headquarters. Under the guidance of the staff, the international students experienced many popular models of Nezha Automobile, and their advanced innovative technology and fashionable design concept won unanimous praise from the international students. After the visit, the international students had a discussion with the leaders of the Overseas Department of Nezha Automobile. They had a heated discussion on production technology, battery materials and other raw materials, and exchanged views on international marketing strategy and overseas business expansion.

     On July 1st, the delegation came to Yiwu. The first stop was Zhejiang Senyu Industrial Co., Ltd. Under the guidance of the staff, the students visited the Senshan Town, aiming to let the students have a deep understanding of the development of China's modern Chinese medicine industry and experience the innovation and achievements of Senyu Industry in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

     Subsequently, the delegation was invited to attend the "Gathering International Talents' Wisdom and Promoting Global Youth Entrepreneurship Salon", and was warmly received by Gao Jin, vice mayor of Yiwu Municipal Government, and Jiang Baozhen, president of Yiwu Research Institute of Zhejiang University of Technology. The delegation felt that Yiwu is building a long-term communication platform for young entrepreneurs from all over the world, and it will gather more wisdom and strength in the future. The international students all said that they had gained a lot in Yiwu and looked forward to the opportunity to come to Yiwu again in the future.

     On July 2nd, the delegation visited Yiwu Shuangtong Group, which is committed to the production of high-quality and environmentally friendly straw products. Under the guidance of the staff, the delegation visited the China Straw Museum and Shuangtong Business School, and had a detailed understanding of the whole process of straws from the selection of raw materials, production and processing to packaging. The visit enabled the international students to have a deep understanding of the advanced technology and management mode of China's manufacturing industry, and experienced the leading position of Shuangtong in the field of environmental protection and innovation.

     This investigation activity is a vivid practice of integrating production and education and the combination of theory and practice. Through this study, they not only understood the development status and future trend of Chinese enterprises in different consumption fields such as aerospace elevators, new energy vehicles and daily commodities, but also saw the specific application of Chinese manufacturing abroad. At the same time, they also further experienced the great craftsman spirit of China, and deeply felt the rapid development of China's cities and social economy. This visit gained a lot and inspired the overseas students.
