Dear undergraduates-2017 session,
To honor excellent international students, the university has decided to select and award HUST Honorary International Graduates. The notice is hereby announced as follows:
1、Qualification
1.1 Basic Qualification
1)Strictly obey Chinese laws and regulations and university’s rules and regulations;
2)Polite and honest, positive and having team cooperation spirit;
3)Diligent, well-disciplined and well-performed at study;
4)Paying full tuition fee and registering in HUB system on time every semester and without visa expiring records;
5)Never received any punishment.
1.2 Essential Qualification
To receive Excellent International Graduates, international students shall match one of the conditions below:
1)Perform well on study and have received at least one award or honorable title during the study period in university;
2)Have made outstanding contributions during the study period at university;
3)Graduation thesis for bachelor degree being awarded as excellent thesis in university-level or above.
2.Selection Procedure
1)Personal Application: qualified international students submit <Application Form- HUST Outstanding International Student(Undergraduate)> and other supporting certificating materials;
2) Schools and departments recommendation: every school and department shall check application materials submitted by students and determine candidates according to students’ comprehensive performance and examination scores;
3) Submit the application documents to School of International Education for the final evaluation, and wait for the decision from university;
4) The final nomination will be announced from the university and students will be awarded with honorary certificates and be recorded into the students’ files.
3.Important Matters to Follow
After departments’ evaluation, application documents should be submitted to School of International Education before 12:00, June 14, 2017. Application beyond the deadline shall not be considered. Selection of HUST Honorary International Graduates(Undergraduate) of 2017 shall be carried out based on the principles of justice and fairness.

关于评选优秀留华毕业生（本科生）的通知
全校各院系、各位外国留学生（本科生）：
为表彰在校表现优异的外国留学生，树立知华、友华、爱校、荣校的外国留学生成才典型，学校将在2017届毕业生当中开展“优秀留华毕业生”评选工作。现将有关评选事宜通知如下：
一、评选条件
（一）基本条件
1. 严格遵守中国的法律法规和学校的各项规章制度；
2. 明礼诚信，积极向上，具有团队协作精神；
3. 勤奋学习，学风端正，成绩优良；
4. 每学期按时缴纳学费并完成HUB注册，无过往签证过期纪录；
5. 未受到过任何处分。
（二）必备条件
获得优秀留华毕业生荣誉称号的应符合以下条件之一：
1. 学习成绩优良，在校期间至少获得过一项奖励或者荣誉称号；
2. 在校期间有突出贡献者；
3. 本科毕业论文获得过校级及以上优秀论文荣誉的。
二、评选程序
(1) 学生申请：学生填写并提交《华中科技大学外国留学生（本科生）先进个人申请审批表》，需附上相应的支撑材料；
(2) 院系推荐：各院系综合学生的综合表现和考试成绩，对学生提交的申请材料予以审核和推荐，确定候选人；
(3) 国际教育学院汇总评审结果，并报学校审批；
(4) 公布获奖学生名单并颁发荣誉证书，登记载入毕业生档案。
三、相关要求
经各院系评审后，各学院将评选结果及申请人材料于6月14日12：00之前报送国际教育学院。超过规定时间的，不予受理。各院系要坚持公平、公正和公开的原则，认真组织好本科生先进个人评选工作。
