Abstract: An integrated stretchable wireless power transfer device was demonstrated by packaging rigid electronic chips onto a liquid alloy coil patterned on a half-cured polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) surface. To obtain low enough resistance, the long liquid alloy coil with a large cross section was made with a tape transfer masking followed by spray deposition of the liquid alloy. The measured results indicated the wireless power transfer efficiency reached 10% at 140 kHz and good performance under 25% overall strain.
