博士，硕士生导师。湖北省生理学会秘书长，武汉生理学会秘书长，美国俄亥俄州立大学医学院神经科学博士后（2011-2013年）和访问学者（2017年）。2004年于武汉大学医学院获医学博士学位，2004年7月起在华中科技大学同济医学院基础医学院生理学系任教。主持并参与多项国家自然科学基金项目、教育部资助课题，发表权威研究论文十数篇。
