黄威博士,现任职于华中科技大学材料学院,担任教授,博导,并入选国家高层次人才项目。主要从事高强韧抗冲击生物和仿生材料的多尺度结构和性能研究,以及仿生外骨骼智能系统的设计与成形制造。通过对自然界生物结构材料(例如骨骼、牙齿、角和蹄等)的多尺度结构、生物矿化以及力学性能的研究,提出并总结可用于人工合成材料的多尺度强化与增韧机制 (Nature Materials, 2020; Advanced Materials, 2019; Acc. Chem. Res, 2022;Matter, 2025; IJEM, 2025)。探索并模仿自然界生物组织与材料,开发仿生外骨骼材料与智能系统。主要研究成果发表在Nature Materials, PNAS, Advanced Materials, Matter, Advanced Functional Materials, Acta Biomaterialia等国际知名期刊上。受邀担任了Acta Biomaterialia, Acta Materialia, Mechanics of Materials, IJSS等期刊审稿人。
