The 12th "China Software Cup" National College Student Software Design Competition Finals and Awards Ceremony were successfully concluded in Nanjing on August 20, 2023. The team guided by Professor Kun He, Professor Junlong Zhang, Associate Professor Quan Zhou, Associate Professor Yu Liu, Professor Zhihu Tan, Professor Ling Yuan, and Mr. Yebin Fan from the School of Computer Science and Technology won one first prize, one second prize, and seven third prizes. The teams composed of HUST-CST students also won three third prizes. Professor Kun He was awarded the Best Instructor Award, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology won the Excellent Organization Award.
The work "Intelligent Resume Analysis System" by the team guided by Professor Kun He , including Yifei Li (School of Software), Siyu Jiang (School of Telecommunication), Mingxin Yang (School of Computer Science and Technology) and Min Yang (School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation) , won the first prize in the national competition. During the competition, the team overcame technical difficulties such as time-consuming and complex resume parsing, limited accuracy of information extraction, and difficulty in matching candidates with job positions. They utilized natural language processing and machine learning technologies, with resume text recognition, large language models, and candidate-job matching algorithms as the core technologies, to create an intelligent resume analysis system for the real workplace.
The 12th "China Software Cup" National College Student Software Design Competition, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, has established itself as the premier event in the national software industry over the past twelve years.
