Personal Profile

Yao Jie is an associate professor of Computer Science at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research spans methodology and implementation of Computer Architecture. He focuses on questions such as: How can we achieve long-term data preservation? How can ordinary people solve the data management problem? What’s the storage requirement for the mobile and social network? He published several papers in journals and conferences. Jie has good skills in software programming and embedded designs. As a leader, Jie conducted several research projects. Jie teaches in many programs of computer science and technology. He is working on the strengthening of combination of theory and practice in teaching.
