Personal Profile

Zheng Long, is an associate professor of School of Computer Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, supervisor of doctorate candidates, and distinguished expert of Zhijiang Laboratory. In 2014, he made an exchange visit at Nanyang University of Technology in Singapore, and obtained a doctorate degree in computer system architecture from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in September 2016. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of big data system architecture, graph computing, integration of storage and computing, etc., and has been engaged in top international computer academic conferences such as MICRO, HPCA, SC, DAC, USENIX ATC, FPGA, PACT, CGO, HiPEAC, IPDPS, IEEE TCAD, IEEE TPDS More than 50 papers have been published in important international journals of CCF such as ACM TACO, 11 national invention patents have been approved, 4 U.S. patents have been approved, and more than 10 national key R&D programs/topics, NSFC key funds/general programs/youth programs, The National High Technology Research and Development Program of China(863 Program) topics, and postdoctoral science funds have been undertaken. He was awarded the Best Paper of the International Conference on Advanced Parallel Processing Technology APPT'21, and the Best Academic Paper of the Seventh CCF Big Data Academic Conference Nomination for the Best Paper of PACT 2018, CGO 2015 Best Report Award of the International Conference on Computer Parallel Architecture and Compiling Technology, etc. The results of the graph computing accelerator were selected were selected into Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Exhibition in the National "13th Five-Year Plan Period of China", and the key technologies of graph computing were awarded the IEEE/MIT/Amazon GraphChallenge, the most influential event in the field of graph computing (the first in China in 2021 and the second in 2022), innovation awards, honorary awards, etc. He and his works have been reported by more than 30 mainstream media, including the People's Daily WeChat official account, South China Morning Post, Reference News WeChat official account, Global Times official account, New Zhiyuan, DeepTech Shenzhen Technology, etc. Member of CCF Architecture Special Committee, member of CCF Parallel Distributed Computing Special Committee, member of CCF System Software Special Committee, member of the Artificial Intelligence Foundation Special Committee of the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence, member of the Power Sensing and Intelligent Analysis Special Committee of the Chinese Energy Research Association, intelligent young scientist of Zhiyuan, winner of the Youth May 4th Medal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, guest editor of CCF Transactions on High Performance Computing, Frontiers of Computer Science (FCS) Preparatory Youth Editorial Board Member, has been a member of the Program Committee of well-known international academic conferences and a judge of international journals for a long time.
