Personal Profile

I am an associatee professor in School of Computer Science and Technology of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. I obtained my Ph.D (supervisor: Prof. Dr. Xiaoming Fu) in Computer Science from University of Goettingen, Germany with the highest distinction "Summa Cum Laude" in 2016. Before that, I got my M.Sc in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua Univeristy in 2012. My research interests include social network analysis , social computing, graph neural networks, and interdisciplinary studies based on big data.

I have been a visiting student at University of Chicago (working with Ronald Burt), Tsinghua University (working with Jie Tang), Nanjing University and Fudan University. During my PhD, I have also been an intern at NEC and SAP Germany.

Enrollment Information

At present, there are graduate students under my supervision who have won State Scholarship and Huawei Scholarship for graduate students every year. All graduated students are employed in Huawei, Baidu, Alibaba, Meituan, Byte and other well-known Internet companies, as algorithm engineers.The internship undergraduate in my group  has been recruited by Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH).
