On December 24, GAO Yuyue, Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, and his delegation visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU) for a research tour. They were accompanied by Vice President YAN Rujian. During the visit, the group toured several key facilities, including the PLA Military Institute of Engineering Memorial Hall, the Marine Culture Museum, the Science and Technology Achievement Exhibition Hall, and various laboratories.

Vice President YAN Rujian warmly welcomed GAO Yuyue and his delegation. He provided an overview of HEU’s advancements in scientific research and the transformation of technological achievements. YAN emphasized that the university has always focused on key areas such as the shipbuilding industry, marine equipment, ocean exploration, and nuclear applications. HEU has committed to distinctive development, continuously enhancing its core competitiveness. YAN expressed the hope of further strengthening cooperation between HEU and the local government, particularly in technological innovation and achievement transformation, to achieve mutual benefits and promote high-quality development for both parties.

GAO Yuyue expressed his desire to use this visit as a platform to strengthen collaboration and explore shared development opportunities.
