National University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Projects
Divided into innovation training projects, entrepreneurial training projects, and entrepreneurial practice projects, these are categorized into general projects and key support area projects. Among them, innovation training and entrepreneurial training projects are funded with 8,000 yuan; entrepreneurial practice projects are funded with 30,000 yuan; key support area projects receive funding that is not less than twice the amount of similar projects.

It is divided into innovation training projects and entrepreneurial training projects. Each project is funded with 1,500 yuan.
The research period for all types of projects is one year (May 2024 to April 2025).
II. Project Sources
Science and education integration projects: Relying on teacher scientific research projects, the number of projects established should be at least 50% of the total college quota.
Industry and education integration projects: Adding "industry and education integration projects" at the provincial and university levels, not occupying college quotas, with no more than 10 projects per college. The source of these projects is enterprises, andenterprise-supported scientific research projects directly or indirectly support the project funds.
Combination of innovation and competition projects: Based on high-level competitions, transforming competition topics into topics for significant innovation projects. For projects established based on this, participation in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition should not exceed 80% of the total number of college projects.
Independent topic selection projects: The number of established projects should be at most 20% of the total college quota.
III. Project Declaration Requirements and Process
The project is open to full-time non-graduating undergraduate students, with each undergraduate student able to lead only one project or participate in no more than two projects per year, ensuring completion before graduation. Students who have terminated projects due to personal reasons, in principle, cannot declare new projects again.
The project team should consist of 3-5 members. The applicant for innovation training projects can be an individual or a team (1-5 people); the applicant for entrepreneurial training projects must be a team (3-5 people); the applicant for entrepreneurial practice projects must be a team (3-10 people, including graduate students). Cross-disciplinary, cross-departmental, and cross-grade team formation is encouraged.
In principle, project mentors should have an associate senior professional title or above, or hold a Ph.D. degree, with each person not guiding more than two projects simultaneously per year, and at most two mentors per project. For teams declaring industry and education integration projects, joint guidance from both internal and corporate mentors is encouraged, with entrepreneurial practice project mentors implementing an internal and external "dual mentor" system.
To improve project quality, principles state that the topics for national-level projects should come from teachers' ongoing scientific research projects, with project leaders having experience in completing major innovation projects, especially those who have published or had accepted high-level academic papers, applied for or authorized software patents, or won provincial-level awards in high-level discipline competitions through significant innovation projects.
IV. Project Declaration Process
The project leader shall declare the project through the "Information Portal - Major Innovation System" before April 20, according to the type of project declared, uploading the "Hefei University of Technology Undergraduate Innovation Training Project Application," "Hefei University of Technology Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Training Project Application," or "Hefei University of Technology Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Practice Project Application."
After the project leader submits the materials, the mentor shall submit review comments in the "Major Innovation System" before April 22.
The college plans to organize experts to review national, provincial, and university-level projects on April 24, and establish projects according to the school's allocated quota. Among them, the national-level entrepreneurial practice projects and key support area projects proposed by the college will further participate in the school-level expert review organized by the school.
After the project is established, in principle, it is not allowed to terminate the project; otherwise, the qualifications for future applications of project members will be canceled. In principle, the project mentor, team members, and their order shall not change unless necessary changes follow the relevant regulations of the "Hefei University of Technology University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program Management Measures."
