On November 23, 2024, the meeting was organized by the Department of Science and Technology and Informationization of the Ministry of Education, with an expert panel reviewing the laboratory's progress.

The acceptance team was led by Professor Zhou Aoying, a national high-level talent from East China Normal University, and included renowned experts such as Professor Chen Guihai from Nanjing University, IEEE Fellow, CCF Fellow; Professor Wang Jianyong from Tsinghua University, IEEE Fellow, CAAI Fellow; Professor Cui Bin from Peking University, IEEE Fellow, national high-level talent; Professor Zhang Minling from Southeast University, national high-level talent, and others from prestigious universities and research institutions.

The meeting was attended by Hefei University of Technology's Vice President Kang Yu, Laboratory Director Professor Wu Xindong, faculty from the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, and other key researchers.

Vice President Kang Yu welcomed the expert panel and thanked them for their participation. He reported on the university's support and management of the laboratory, highlighting the significant investments and initiatives taken to foster the development of the lab since its establishment in 2019. Professor Wu Xindong presented a comprehensive report on the laboratory's progress, focusing on its innovative research in big data aggregation, knowledge engineering, and data-driven services.

After reviewing documentation and conducting a site visit, the expert panel expressed strong approval of the lab's achievements, affirming its clear focus and outstanding results in meeting the project goals. Professor Zhou Aoying announced the unanimous agreement of the panel to pass the acceptance.

This acceptance process marks a comprehensive review of the laboratory's development and serves as a powerful impetus for future progress. The laboratory members will take the experts' valuable feedback to heart and continue to enhance their research capacity, aiming to position the laboratory as a global leader in big data knowledge engineering.
