Li Ming is an associate professor at Hefei University of Technology and a distinguished academic backbone of the Huangshan Scholars. He serves as a postdoctoral researcher at Tsinghua University. Li Ming is also the Executive Committee Member of the Youth Working Committee of the China Power Supply Society, an editorial board member of the Chinese core journal "Electric Drive," and a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) SC8A (Renewable Energy Integration Committee) Working Group "Power Electronics Interface Generation Equipment Modeling" (WG 8). He was the publication chair of the 4th IEEE Smart Power and Internet Energy Systems International Conference (IEEE SPIES) in 2022 and the session chair of the 10th IET Renewable Power Generation Conference (IET RPG) in 2021. 

Li Ming's research focuses on modeling, analysis, and control technologies for the stability of renewable energy integration. He was awarded the second prize in the "China Power Supply Society Excellent Ph.D. Thesis" in 2023, with only five theses selected nationwide. He has been invited to give keynote speeches at more than ten well-known domestic and international conferences, including the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the China Electrotechnical Society and the 16th China Electrotechnical Society Academic Annual Meeting. Li Ming has published over twenty papers as the first/corresponding author in high-impact journals such as IEEE Trans. Industrial Electronics and IEEE Trans. Power Electronics, as well as in domestic and international conferences. He holds over ten authorized and publicly disclosed domestic and PCT international invention patents. Li Ming has won several awards, including the first prize for the Best Paper at the IEEE ECCE Asia Conference, Outstanding Paper Awards from the China Electrotechnical Society, China Power Supply Society Academic Annual Meeting, and Outstanding Paper Award from the journal "Global Energy Interconnection." He is the principal investigator of projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program subproject, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation general project.
