Peng Gao, professor and master's supervisor of Hefei University of Technology, Huangshan Young Scholar, received Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology (TUDelft) and Ph.D in Materials Science from South China University of Technology (SCUT). In the last five years, Peng Gao has presided over 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), successfully led a project supported by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (CPFSF), contributed to a project under the Major Science and Technology Special Project titled "Open bidding for selecting the best candidates" in Anhui Provincial, and participated in 2 National Key Research and Development Program of China. Peng Gao published more than 20 research papers in the journals such as Cem. Concr. Res., Cem. Concr. Compos., Compos. B. Eng., and J. Chin. Ceram. Soc., etc., and 2 software copyrights. More accolades including 1 Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 Scientific Innovation Award of the First-level Society, and 1 Talent Award of Guangdong Province. Furthermore, Peng Gao serves as a valuable youth editorial board member of "Bulletin of the Chinese Ceramic Society", and deputy director of "Engineering Research Center of Low-carbon Technology and Equipment for Cement-based Materials, Ministry of Education" in Hefei University of Technology.
