Title of the Report: Creating "Wireless" Possibilities - New Opportunities in Ubiquitous Wireless Sensing
Presenter: Zhang Fusang
Affiliation: Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Date of the Report: December 6, 2024 (Friday), 15:00 PM
Location of the Report: Conference Room 1104, Building A, Feicui Science and Education Building
Abstract: With the development of smart Internet of Things (IoT), mobile, and pervasive computing, ubiquitous wireless sensing leverages wireless radio signals widely present in the environment, such as WiFi, UWB, and millimeter waves. Besides supporting wireless communication, by modeling and analyzing the impact of humans and the environment on ubiquitous signals, it can sense information about the location and status of the perceived target. This report focuses on the diverse signals used in intelligent sensing based on ubiquitous signals and introduces the latest advancements in various wireless sensing technologies, providing new ideas for advancing the implementation of sensing technology and breaking through the performance bottlenecks of intelligent sensing.
