(GAO Min CHEN Saihong) On December 1, Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology (GZIST) Track and Field Team, led by Vice President Zhang Zhihong and coaches Jiang jieliang, Chen Saihong and Cai Yuhao, snatched the Team Championship for Group A. The three coaches were awarded the title of “Excellent Coaches”.
The Contest was joined by 1867 athletes from Guangdong Province 126 universities and colleges with 36 items. Our contestants performed to the best of their skills, winning a Gold Medal for Men’s 100 meters , a Gold Medal for Men’s 110 meters, Silver Medals for Men’s 400 meters, Women’s 100 meter hurdle and Men’s high jump as well as runner-ups for Men’s 4×100 meter and Women’s 4×100 meter relays.
GZIST has always attached great importance to sports, our students’ physique and character building, team work to the call of our nation for an educational and sports strong, healthy China.
