On the afternoon of December 22, 2021, President Hu Shejun led a team composed of Professor Wang Qinruo and another 8 faculty members from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Electrical Engineering to Guangdong Bawei Biotechnology Corporation, promoting the university-industry partnership and the industrial development of Baiyun District. They were warmly received by the Coorporations Assistant Vice Chairman Chen Qingyun and Administration Manager Shan Nan.

The team visited the Innovation Center of Bawei Minke Park & Smart Factory, focusing on the cosmetics MES intelligent manufacturing production line, filling and packaging line, and quality testing laboratory. Intelligent Manufacturing Director Chen Qingyun made a detailed introduction to the relevant equipment and technological processes.

At the meeting, President Hu introduced GZISTs history, talents training, cooperation and exchanges and the integration of industry into education, with emphasis on the three areas: technologies of intelligent manufacturing, e-commerce and industrial design and reserve of talents.. Director Chen Qingyun briefed the university team on the Corporation and the requirements for the MES intelligent manufacturing production line. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the current development of intelligent manufacturing in direction of the Corporation for partnership planning, technological cooperation and talent training, and initially reached consensus of in-depth integration of industry and university.
