I. Project overview
The program curriculum is based on Chinese language courses, supplemented by medical and Chinese culture lecture courses, aiming to improve the Chinese language proficiency of international students, enhance their understanding and awareness of China and Chinese culture, and cultivate their awareness and skills of cross-cultural communication. Those who pass the program's final exam will be given priority in qualifying for professional admission.
II. Course description
The Chinese language program is mainly for learners who have a zero starting point in Chinese language, adopting the intensive preparatory teaching mode and the teaching principle of “precise lectures and more practice” to cultivate learners' communicative ability in Chinese language through the training of their skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese.
The Chinese culture course will provide a platform for learners to perceive Chinese culture and recognize Chinese society, and through various cultural activities, they will experience and recognize Chinese history and culture, and feel the development of contemporary Chinese society.

V. Conditions of application
1. Non-Chinese citizens aged 18-29 (as of the date of registration) who are physically and mentally healthy;
2. High school education or above with good grades;
3. Friendly to China, no criminal record.
VI. Materials required for the application
1. Scanned copy of valid passport information page;
2.Highest education certificate/pre-graduation certificate (original scanned copy and English translation copy);
3. Transcripts of all courses in the highest academic education stage (Chinese/English transcripts are available);
4. Scanned copy of the original copy of “Foreigner's Physical Examination Form”, which is uniformly printed by China's health quarantine department and must be completed in Chinese or English;
5. No criminal record.
VII. Fees
Tuition Fee: 9,000RMB/semester
Accommodation Fee: 2,000RMB/semester

IX. Application process
Log on to the International Student Services Platform of Fujian Medical University (http://fjmu.liuguanbao.com/Account/Login/), complete the online application and upload the required application materials.
X. Certificate of Completion
Those who pass the final examination will be awarded the Certificate of Completion.
