The Opening Ceremony for China - Australia Research Center for Judicial Civilization, one Overseas Research Partnership of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization, was held in the University of Adelaide, Australia

     On 7th Mar.2016,the China - Australia Research Center for Judicial Civilization which is funded by 2011 Plan Collaborative Innovation of Judicial Civilization and the University of Adelaide was established formally. The delegations of Collaborative Innovation of Judicial Civilization went to the law school of the University of Adelaide to attend the opening ceremony. Professor Baosheng Zhang who is the co-chair of Collaborative Innovation of Judicial Civilization, Professor Zhong Zhang, the Chinese president of China – Australia Research Center for Judicial Civilization and Associate Professor Zhuhao Wang attended the opening ceremony.

                                                      

          

In the opening ceremony, Professor Suzanne Le Mire, the president of the law school of the University Adelaide and Mr. David Caruso, the president of Southern Australia Bar Association, the Australian president of China – Australia Research Center for Judicial Civilization warmly welcome the delegations of Collaborative Innovation of Judicial Civilization as well as speaks highly of the close relationship between the leader of Collaborative Innovation of Judicial Civilization CUPL and the law school of the University Adelaide. They also express their great expectations for the future of China - Australia Research Center for Judicial Civilization.

China - Australia Research Center for Judicial Civilization is the first domestic academic and research institution. This research institution is established by both China and Australian top research institution aiming at comparatively studying China – Australia judicial advanced theories and running judicial system. It plays an important role in facilitating the comparative study of judicial theory, innovation, and the communications among people engaging in law.

The CUPL and the Collaborative Innovation of Judicial Civilization will send scholars to the law school of the University of Adelaide to visit, study correlative lessons and publish some common achievements. China and Australia encourage students to hold moot court competition.
