The 6th Council Meeting of International Association of Evidence Science (“IAES”) was held solemnly in Baltimore, Maryland State, U.S., on August 15th, 2017 and hosted by Prof. Ronald J. Allen, Chairman of the IAES and Professor in Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. During the meeting, Professor Xu WANG, the dean of Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science of China University of Political Science and Law (“CUPL”) and Alex Biedermann, Associate Professor in Université de Lausanne were elected unanimously as the new member of IAES by all the council present to the meeting. And Prof. Xu WANG was also elected as Joint Execution Director of IAES additionally. The Council Meeting also decided the 7th International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science would be held in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany in 2019 and organized by Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law.
