The International Journal of Evidence & Proof (Volume 21, Issue 1-2, 2017) Published Six Papers Written by Teachers and Students of China University of Political Science and Law (“CUPL”) for the First Time

At the beginning of 2017, it was the first time that, the International Journal of Evidence & Proof (hereinafter “EPJ”) (Volume 21, Issue 1-2, 2017) concurrently published 6 articles by Chinese scholars as independent author or first co-author. In the same volume, EPJ also published papers written by Prof. Ronald J. Allen from Northwestern University Law School (also the President of International Association of Evidence Science), Associate Prof. Alex Biedermann and Prof. Christophe Champod from University of Lausanne (Switzerland), Mr. David Caruso from University of Adelaide (Australia) and other members of the “2011 Plan” of the PRC national government – Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization (“CICJC”) and the “111 Plan” of the PRC national government – Base for Evidence Science Innovation and Talent Recruitment (“BESITR”) . After two rounds of double blinded peer review process, the 11 papers mentioned above were selected to publish from more than 80 papers in the 2015 5th International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science(“ICELFS”), which have attracted attention from national and international scholars, and received positive feedback from peers.

Note II: International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science(“ICELFS”) is held by International Association of Evidence Science. Since its inception in Beijing for the first time in 2007, it has gradually developed into a feast for Chinese and foreign scholars, evidence jurists and forensic scientists to meet and share their mind every two years. The 5th ICELFS has successfully held during 2015 July 22-23 in Adelaide Australia, which was attended by more than 220 delegates including evidence scholars and forensic scientists from 15 countries and regions of five continents including China, Australia, U.S., U.K., Swiss, Tanzania, South Africa, etc. The 6th ICELFS will be held during August 14-16 this year at University of Maryland.
