Notes:Students of Chinese-taught program need to study Chinese for one semester, starting from March 2021 to July 2021. Students are supposed to have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 4), and a minimum score of 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level) before academic study.
Criteria &Eligibility
1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.
2.Applicants for Chinese-taught program are supposed to be aged from 18 to 24 years old, and Applicants for English-taught program are supposed to be aged from 18 to 25 years old.
Language Requirements
1. English-taught Programs
Applicants from English-speaking countries (English as mother Tongue/ official language), should submit the proof that English is the mother tongue;
Applicants from English as non-native language countries should submit English-learning transcripts with recognition of Changsha University of Science & Technology, such as IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 65 above etc, or pass the English test of CSUST;
2.Chinese-taught Programs
Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 2), for applicants who can not provide qualified HSK (Level 2) examination score report shall attend and pass interview organized by International College.

2.Highest diploma (notarized photocopy): Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

Tuition：

Application fee:Admitted students are required to pay an application fee of 2500 yuan, which will be used as part of above expenses or deposit after registration.
Scholarship:
Conditional admission scholarships are offered to outstanding students.The conditional admission scholarships are used to cover the full tuition and accommodation fee (four-bed room) of Chinese-taught program, and cover no more than 50% tuition fee of English-taught programs within the standard study duration (4 school years).Students shall go through the procedures of the annual assessment, qualified students can obtain scholarship in the following school year.

Application and Admission Procedure
Step 1: Online Application
Applicants can log in the Online Service System for International Students of CSUST：https://csust.17gz.org/ , and register an account and fill in online forms and submit the applications.
Step 2: Documents assessment and admission confirmation
After reviewing of application materials in accordance with the provisions of the university, successful applicants will be issued Admission documents.
Note:Applicant needs to pay the postage by him/herself for mailing services.
Notes：Application in person accepted only.
Insurance
According to the relevant regulations of the Chinese government, international students must be insured as required. For students who fail to buy insurance, enrollment will be disqualified.
Registration
The specific time of registration shall be based on the Admission Notice. If student fail to register within the time limit, enrollment will be disqualified.

Changsha University of Science & Technology（CSUST） was established in 1956. About International Students Education
Since 1999, Changsha University of Science & Technology（CSUST） has been accredited to recruit and train international students, and is awarded as the advanced unit for international students. With rapid growth in the number of students registered, CSUST has attracted international students from 52 countries, with annual recruitment reaching 300 people.
The recruitment and training of international students rely mainly on the key disciplines, advanced faculty as well as sophisticated teaching platform. After more than ten years of development, a multi-level and comprehensive training system has been established which mainly focuses on academic education and is supplemented by long-term and short-term Chinese language training, with a comprehensive education level covering undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral candidates. The system is also multi-typed with various funding channels ranging from Chinese government scholarship, Confucius Institute scholarship, to university-enterprise cooperation, and inter-universities cooperation. Now more than 10 key disciplines have been established to train international students bilingually in civil engineering, electrical engineering, traffic engineering,hydraulic engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, etc.
We aim to cultivate our international students with scientific and humanistic abilities, solid foundation to their majors, practical and diversified ability and with a good understanding of international laws and regulations.

►Changsha University of Science & Technology (CSUST) distinguishes itself as an engineering-centered multidisciplinary university, integrating engineering, science, management, economics, philosophy, liberal arts and law, with a stronghold in undergraduate education and a capacity of post-doctoral science and research workstations, conferment of doctoral degrees and recommendation of postgraduates for master’s degrees.
►CSUST is listed among the “National Fundamental Capacity Construction Project for Universities in Middle and Western Regions”. The University has been granted first batch of national top 50 “Innovation and entrepreneurship typical experience university”, with the reputation of “China’s first-class university construction university”(Type A) in Hunan province.
► CSUST has aimed closely at the development in its major-related industries and has established a high-level undergraduate education system with unique characteristics. CSUST sets up 76 undergraduate majors, among which, twelve are listed among national first-class undergraduate majors(There are 19 first-class undergraduate majors at provincial level and above), nine national characteristic disciplines.
