Application Guidelines for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2025
Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT)
一、申请条件Eligibility
1. 非中国籍人士；
2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；
3. 身心健康，品学兼优；
4. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；
5. 年龄为 16-35 周岁（统一以 2025 年 9 月 1 日计）。在职中文教师放宽至 45 周岁。
1.Be a non-Chinese citizen;
2.Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Beijing Institute of Technology;
3.Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;
4.Be interested in Chinese language education and related work;
5.Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2025. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45.
二、招生类别Categories
1.国际中文教育专业硕士研究生
Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
2025年9月入学，资助期限为2年。申请者需具有大学本科学历。中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（五级）210分、HSKK（中级）60分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
The program commences in September 2025, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of two academic years. Applicants shall hold a Bachelor's degree. Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 5) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level). Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect.
2.一学年研修生
Scholarship for One-Year Study Program
2025年9月入学，资助期限为11个月。
The program commences in September 2025, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of eleven months.
2.1国际中文教育
International Chinese Language Education Programs
中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）270分，具有HSKK成绩。
Applicant must have a minimum score of 270 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.
2.2汉语研修
Chinese Study
中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）210分，提供HSKK成绩者优先。
Applicants must have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK test (Level 3), and priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.
3.一学期研修生 国际中文教育专业
Scholarship for One-Semester Study Program(International Chinese Language Education Programs)
2025年9月、2026年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）180分，具有HSKK成绩。
The program commences either in September 2025 or March 2026, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of five months.
Applicants must have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.
4.四周研修生 汉语研修
Scholarship for Four-Week Study Program
2025 年 7 月或 12 月入学，资助期限为 4 周。具有HSK成绩。
可由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系北京理工大学院校确定在华学习计划，提前报中心审批，每团10-15 人。
The program commences either in July or December 2025, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of four weeks. Applicants are required to provide an HSK test score.
The program may be organized and applied for by a Recommending Institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with Beijing Institute of Technology and such plan shall be submitted to CLEC for review and approval.
三、办理流程Application Procedures
2025年2月20日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教师奖学金板块，查询推荐机构与接收院校；在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；奖学金获得者与北京理工大学确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书； 按北京理工大学录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。
Online registration will be available from February 20, 2025 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (http://www.chinese.cn). You may search for Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions; submit application materials online; and track the application process. The successful applicant must confirm with BIT to go through the procedures of studying in China, and register at BIT on the designated date as per the Letter of Admission.
截止日期（以北京时间为准）：
1．7 月入学：学生申请截止日期为 4 月 15 日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为 4 月 25 日；
2．9 月入学：学生申请截止日期为 5 月 15 日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为 5 月 25 日；
3．12 月入学：学生申请截止日期为 9 月 15 日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为 9 月 25 日；
4．2026 年 3 月入学：学生申请截止日期为 10 月 31 日， 推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为 11 月 10 日。
Application Deadlines (Beijing Time)
1.For programs commencing in July, applicants must complete their applications by April 15, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by April 25.
2.For programs commencing in September, applicants must complete their applications by May 15, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by May 25.
3.For programs commencing in December, applicants must complete their applications by September 15, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by September 25.
4.For programs commencing in March 2026, applicants must complete their applications by October 31, and Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions must complete the review by November 10.
中心委托专家组集中评审：根据 HSK、HSKK 考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前约 3 个月完成奖学金评审工作，发布评审结果。
CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. Decisions will be based on HSK and HSKK levels and scores, geographical distribution, and other factors. The results will be announced about three months before the program starts.
注意：一学期研修项目和一学年研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。
四、关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者Policies Regarding In-service Chinese Language Teachers And Chinese Bridge Winners
1. 在职中文教师In-Service Chinese Language Teachers
在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取。
In-service Chinese language teachers need to provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.
2. 汉语桥获奖者Chinese Bridge Winners
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得 “国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。
Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to the Host Institutions directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

五、资助内容
Scholarship Coverage
国际中文教师奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。
The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship supports tuition, accommodation, living allowance (excluding four-week program students) and comprehensive medical insurance.
1. 我校为学生提供免费宿舍，一般为2/3人间；经奖学金生申请、我校批准，选择校外住宿者，由学校按月发放住宿费，标准为700元人民币/月。
We provide free accommodation for Scholarship students. Normally 2-3 students stay in a room. For those who with the permission of the university choose to live off campus, they are entitled to a monthly accommodation allowance of RMB700 per person.
2. 生活费由我校按月发放。一学年和一学期研修生标准为2500元人民币/月；国际中文教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月。
Living allowance is granted on monthly basis. The allowance criteria per person is:
One-Year Students, One-Semester Students: RMB 2,500 per month;
Master's students in International Chinese Language Education: RMB 3,000 per month.
3. 综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行，由我校统一购买。四周研修生标准为100元人民币/人，一学期研修生为400元人民币/人，一学年以上标准为800元人民币/年/人。
Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased in accordance with the relevant regulations for international students stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China. The insurance packages are as follows:
Four-week program students- RMB 100 per person,
One-Semester Students- 400 per person,
One-Academic-Year Students and above - 800 per person yearly.

中文师资类项目
Application Procedure for Chinese Language Teacher Program
(一)请所有申请者登录国际中文教师奖学金网站（http://cis.chinese.cn）注册、填写《国际中文教师奖学金申请表》并提交有关证明材料电子扫描件:
For all applicants, please log on to the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarships website (http://cis.chinese.cn) to register. Complete the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarships Application Form online and upload the scanned copies of relevant supporting documents:
与所有申请者有关的证明材料 For all applicants
(1) 护照照片页扫描件。
A scanned copy of the passport data page.
(2) HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。
HSK, HSKK score reports of no longer than two years.
(3) 推荐机构负责人的推荐信。
Recommendation letter signed by the head of the recommending institutions.
与学历生有关的证明材料 For degree scholarship program applicants
(1) 提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。
Certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected year of graduation), and an official transcript.
(2)国际中文教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。
Applicants for MTCSOL Scholarship are required to provide 2 reference letters either from professors or associate professors. Those who can provide an employment agreement or related documents from the designated teaching institution are preferred.
(3)在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。
Applicant who is currently working in a Chinese language teaching- related field shall provide an employment certification and reference letters from the agency.
(4)未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant documents of entrusted legal guardians in China.
（二）在北京理工大学系统完成注册（http://apply.isc.bit.edu.cn），确认提交申请单获得申请编号。
Complete the registration in BIT system (http://apply.isc.bit.edu.cn), confirm to submit the application and obtain the application number.
（三）推荐机构审核并推荐合格学生至我校。
Recommending institutions reviews materials and recommends applicants who meet the criteria to our university.
（四）我校审核材料并组织网络面试，择优预录取。
Our university reviews materials, interview applicants and pre-admits applicants on a competitive selection based process.
（五）中外语言交流合作中心集中评审，择优资助。于入学前3个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果。
Center for language education and cooperation will conduct an overall assessment of all applications and admit applicants on the basis of competitive selection. Normally, the admission results will be announced 3 months before the term begins.
