At the 24th China Annual Conference for International Education and Exhibition in Beijing on Oct 26, the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) announced the results of the 2023 re-accreditation for higher education quality for international students. Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) was awarded an eight-year certification validity and became the first university in China to achieve an A+ level evaluation.
Liu Limin, former deputy minister of education and president of the CEAIE, awarded the representatives of universities with the "Education Service Certification Certificate", covering a period of eight years. Jiang Lan, member of the Party Committee and vice president of BIT, received the certificate on behalf of the university.

During the seminar, Jiang gave a keynote speech on "studying in BIT," highlighting the university's achievements in education, management, services for international students, and international talent cultivation over the past decade.

BIT has made significant progress in educating international students over the past decade, with this certification playing a crucial role. “BIT has accelerated the development of high-quality education and construction of a world-class university”, said Jiang, adding that in the future BIT will focus on the "BEGIN" program, to create a first-class international education hub, and cultivate top-notch international talents.
